Background history 

Brand-Nu, whose real name is Tyrik Britman, is a local artist from Blytheville, Arkansas. He was born on September 26, 1997, and started making music in 2011. Originally a singer, he found an outlet through writing raps about his life and what it was like at different periods of time. He records all of his music in his home studio, in which was built over a span of about 4 years and is still growing.

Tyrik has made it a point to make real music about real life experiences in which he has been apart of. Something that is most evident in his music is storytelling and insight as to what his life is like.
